Morels and More Foraging Adventure

Morels are starting to pop and I’m anxious to get out there! Want to come with? This last-minute outdoor foraging adventure will first discuss foraging basics, safety, tips/tricks to finding and identifying morels and other edible plant and mushroom species, and of course we will answer any questions. Then we will wander through the woods looking for and identifying a variety mushrooms and edible plants. We hope to find morels, but there is no guarantee. However, even if we don’t find any, we will talk about how to find and identify them so you will leave feeling confident knowing how hunt for them on your own. We will discuss a variety of edible plants and mushrooms we find along the way. Bring home any mushrooms you find. Plants can not be harvested. No experience necessary.

*We will be walking off-trail and on uneven terrain. It could be very hilly in this area and somewhat strenuous, depending on where you choose to venture.
