The Final Foray: 2026’s Last Mushroom Hunt!

This is a special one! I’m heading to Italy the very next day to do a little mushroom hunting of my own, which means this will be my final mushroom foraging class of 2026! Come join me for one last adventure in the woods before I trade Minnesota mushrooms for Italian fungi.

We’ll start with about an hour covering foraging basics, safety, tips and tricks for successful hunting, species of interest, and plenty of time for questions.

Then it’s time to forage! We’ll explore the woods looking for, identifying, discussing, and harvesting any edible mushrooms we find. Along the way, we’ll talk about what to look for, where to look, and how to become a more confident mushroom hunter.

No experience necessary. Whether you’re brand new to mushroom hunting or have been foraging for years, you’re welcome to join. Any edible mushrooms we find will be divided evenly among the group.

Approximate Itinerary

1:00–2:00pm – Introduction & Discussion
2:00–2:30pm – Break & Gear Up
2:30–4:00pm – Foraging
4:00–4:30pm – Mushroom Review & Even Split

Refund and Cancellation Policy:
*If you cancel at least 72 hours prior to the event, credit will be given towards a future event.  No credit will be given for cancellations within 72 hours of the event.
*This is a rain or shine event, but if conditions are severe, the hunt will be cancelled and credit will be given to use at a future event.
*Class may be cancelled if minimum attendance is not met. Refunds will be given in this scenario.
