Springtime Foraging 101 and Light Tasting

Safely forage for edible plants and mushrooms! Mushrooms covered will include morel, oyster, and
pheasant back and plants including stinging nettle, ramps, and fiddlehead ferns. The class will begin with a presentation, followed by a walk in the woods searching for edible species and ending with a light tasting of morel mushrooms. Foraging will be within 10 minutes of Jordan and we will be walking on uneven terrain. Bring home any mushrooms we find!
