Morels and More – Spring Foraging Adventure

This is the perfect workshop for the beginner forager interested in learning how to hunt for morel mushrooms.  We will first discuss foraging basics and tips and tricks to finding morel mushrooms.  Then we will wander into the woods looking for morels while stopping to point out other tasty spring edibles along the way.

Morels are not the easiest mushroom to find and there is a lot of competition out there.  It is not guaranteed we will find morel mushrooms.  However, if we don’t find any, you will have had a great walk in nature and learned how to increase your chances of finding them at a later date.

The exact location will be disclosed in an email at least 24 hours before the event, but this event will take place somewhere in the SW Metro region of the Twin Cities.
