(You will find the most charming and kind humans hanging out in the nature book isle at the Hennepin County library between 6 and 8pm on Tuesday nights…) Not only that\, I’ll include notes within the calendar days of other things that are in season for foraging\, mother nature permitting.  (Not finding what you’re looking for at the library\, you’ll find other remarkable humans in the back room of the Forest Floor Coffee Shop on Lyndale Avenue between 9 and 11am.)  And of course my birthday will be on there. If you’d like to submit your mushroom photos for the photo contest (please do!)\, pick three “landscape” oriented mushroom photos and upload them here by November 1\, 2025.  Voting will start shortly thereafter and calendars should be ready for purchase by middle of November. The top three winners will receive a free calendar and be featured in the calendar. The rest of the winners will just get the fame (but no fortune) of being in my calendar. 								\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n					Calendar Sale				\n				\n				\n				\n									Instead of waiting until the calendars are complete\, I am offering a “Pre-Order Forest Fair Calendar Sale.” (I really need to think of a catchier name.) Order it now\, here\, before Thanksgiving (November 27\, 2025) for only $20. The catch is\, you must either pick it up at my Chick of the Woods booth at the Forest Fair on December 13 or in Jordan\, MN between Dec 14 and Dec 23. I’ll have some calendars for sale at my booth as well for $25\, but there’s a decent chance I’ll sell out because I don’t want to order too many. Otherwise\, again\, it’ll be available online in mid-November.
